Change Forums

In today’s ever evolving world and environment it is critical for organizations to be able to capitalize on change and continually innovate and grow. How agile is your organization? How would you assess your ability to lead change? What kind of change leader are you?

Why do you need to be a strong leader of change? Because 75-80% of change initiatives fail and one of the main reasons is lack of executive sponsorship and clear leadership throughout the change process. People are the key to a successful organizational transformation and leaders must be able to lead them through the transition.

How can you be a strong leader of change? The chance forums will help leaders gain insight and understanding of the change process and the role that they play within it. It will allow leaders to gain knowledge on how to build strategies and plans to lead through the change process, in order to help their organizations transition successfully.

Topics:
1) Self as leader: heighten awareness of leadership strengths and attributes and connect them to self as a leader of change.
2) Fundamental principles of change and how change occurs. Transition, psychology of change. What is the role of the leader in the process of change? Clear understanding of the role and strategies that a leader must undertake to guide people through change
3) Tools and tactics of change: Understand the difference between change strategy, change leadership and change management tactics.
4) Change methodologies, frameworks and processes that you can apply to your present day and future projects

Learning Objectives:
  • To increase leaders awareness of their own strengths in a context of change and transformation

  • To learn strategies and tools to help lead an organization through a transition and change process

Participants will be invited to have a real case scenario in mind as we work through the process in order to maximize the learning and real life applicability. Through small and large group activities participants will also be asked to share their knowledge, experiences and insights in order to leverage the knowledge in the room. (Registration Form Below)

Who Should Attend: Anyone in a leadership role that needs to successfully set-up, guide and lead their organization through any type of change initiative (e.g. restructuring, growth, new vision, merger, etc).

To assure participants are getting the most out of this experience we ask candidates to have a pre-entry conversation with us to determine if there is a fit with their needs and the outcomes and approach of the forums. The selected candidates will be notified as soon as possible. The cohort will be a max number of 8 people.

“I can honestly say that without the teachings and tools learned during the change leadership forums at the Pillars, my approach and execution towards changing the operational shift structure in our company would have failed. Thank you Caroline and the Pillars for helping me be better prepared during this major undertaking!”
